The Principal York Hotel is a landmark establishment in York’s city centre. Attached to York Railway Station, it combines late-Victorian architecture with modern comfort, contemporary design and state-of-the-art facilities.
The venue includes 155 guestrooms, a swimming pool, sauna, gym, gardens, restaurant and bar. Beyond providing a luxurious stay for its guests, the Principal York Hotel offers an excellent location for people visiting York to explore the historic city.
However, showing its age before the refurbishment, the hotel required a high-quality transformation to return it to its former glory.
We joined forces with the award-winning interior architect, Goddard Littlefair, to refurbish and restore the hotel to the high standards it deserved.
